Keith Matthews

Dr. Keith J. Matthews is Chair of the Graduate Ministry Department, Interim Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program, and Professor of Practical Theology at Azusa Pacific Seminary. He is a 25 year pastoral practitioner in diverse contexts, serving churches from coast to coast. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Fuller Theological.  He has written articles for Sojourners Magazine, Conversations Journal and Christianity Today, as well as co-authoring Dallas Willard’s Study Guide to The Divine Conspiracy, and The Kingdom Life: A Practical Theology of Discipleship and Spiritual Formation.  Keith was also a co-editor and author of The Dictionary of Everyday Theology and Culture. He is an ordained pastor, church consultant, retreat speaker, and is one of the founding teachers of Dallas Willard Ministries' School of Kingdom Living.

EXPERIENCE WITH DALLAS

Keith taught with Dallas for 18 years in Fuller Seminary’s Spirituality and Ministry course, and for 3 years in the Renovaré Institute for Spiritual Formation. He served on Dallas’s Supervisory Council (2001-2013), worked with Dallas in a variety of ministry teams and boards, and continues to serve on the Dallas Willard Ministries Advisory Board.
